How to Take 360-Degree Photos on Android Phone
First, let us follow the procedure of capturing 360 photos on Android because it is very easy and faster than what it is for iPhone.
Previously many Android smartphones, including Samsung, was having photosphere, but somehow nowadays we don’t find it. If you have that prized Nexus of Pixel smartphones, then you do have its inbuilt 360-degree photo feature but for other smartphones, one needs to go to camera and then by swiping to the right should go to camera modes and select Download. With this process, you can download surround shot.
If you are still not able to find it, then you may need to take help from Google Street View. Google Street View is an app, which can help you immensely to capture 360-degree pictures. Step #1. Download and install Google Street View app from Google Play Store.
Step #2. Open the Google Street View app on your Android phone. Then, you need to turn on Notifications.
Remember you got 20 clicks at your disposal to take entire surroundings and then convert it into a 360-degree photo. There are few other apps as well who can start stitching your picture automatically, but in Google Street View you need to confirm that your picture taking is over. Once you confirm it, the image is saved in your Gallery folder of your Android smartphone.
How to Take 360-Degree Photos on iPhone
Just like any Android phone iPhone too has its panorama feature inbuilt in its camera app but like Android, it too lakes 360-degree photo feature. SO over here too you need to take help from Google Street View, and with it, you can take 360 photos on your iPhone. It is totally a different process than what we understood in how to take 360-degree pictures on iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. So should we start the process?
Step #1. Download Google Street View app on your iPhone from iTunes.
Step #2. Launch the Google Street View app and go through the first three instructional pages.
Step #3. Next, The app will ask you to allow location access while using Google Street view, tap on Allow.
Step #4. Tap on the Camera icon on the bottom right corner of your screen and then tap on ‘Camera’ option out of three options you will see: Link external 360 cameras, Import 360 Photos, and Camera.
Step #8. Now you are all set to publish your 360-degree photograph, so you need to tap on the photo to view it fully on your iPhone.
Step #10. There are two options you have now, either you can share the 360-degree picture you took to Google Maps, or you can share it privately. Choose the suitable option and share your first 360 picture.
As we told you earlier that capturing 360-degrees photos on Android is far easier than it is on iPhone. But even on iPhone, the process is not robust, just that you need to follow more steps.
